Eric Clapton
Eric Clapton is the only person ever inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times — with The Yardbirds (1992), Cream (1993), and as a solo artist (2000). He wrote his most famous song, "Layla," about his unrequited love for Pattie Boyd — who was married to his close friend George Harrison at the time. Boyd eventually left Harrison and married Clapton in 1979.
